Compiled by Christine Dennis Skelly. Index to delayed or probated birth certificates filed in Franklin County, sometimes many years after the event. Contains same information as the regular Birth Book. Many of these births are from before 1900 and may be from other counties as well as other states. Certificates issued in the 1920s or 1930s, the probated birth certificates will be found in the county where the person applied, not in the actual county of birth, if different.
